Stonyfield Farm StrongWomen™ Have Heart Summit will bring
together mothers & daughters, sisters, and friends — women
who are committed to being involved, environmentally and socially,
and want to make a difference in all they do. This interactive forum
will encourage woman to take positive steps to nurture themselves
and their relationships in order to live rewarding and healthy lives
— body, mind, and spirit.
Presented by Stonyfield Farm in partnership with LLuminari®,
one of the country's leading health education companies, the summit
will feature LLuminari physicians and health experts who are often
referred to as O, The Oprah Magazine's "Dream Team
of Health Experts."

Nelson, PhD, the respected Tufts University researcher, nutritionist,
and author of the international best-selling Strong Women
book series, hosts the Summit.
- Byllye
Y. Avery, BA, MEd, a dreamer, visionary, and grassroots realist,
combines activism and social responsibility by developing a national
forum for the exploration of health issues of African-American
women.
- Christina
D. Economos, PhD., assistant professor of nutrition at Tufts
University's Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy,
leads research efforts on the interaction between exercise, diet,
body composition, and bone health through longitudinal studies
and lifestyle interventions to prevent osteoporosis and obesity,
starting in early life.
Keynote Speakers
- Nancy
Snyderman, MD, a respected surgeon, author, mother, executive,
and former medical correspondent for ABC News and Good
Morning America, speaks from her book Necessary Journeys
and also discusses her work on global health issues.
- Loretta
LaRoche, humorist, has helped people deal with everyday stress
for over thirty years. With irreverent humor and an innate sense
of the absurd, Ms. LaRoche helps people see how needlessly complex
and stressful our lives can become.
